Default Scat Procar Classic seats installed pics

Here are some pics of the Scat Procar Classic Lowback seats with headrests I recently installed in my '64. I ordered them from Summit, $310.97 each. It took a year to get them as red was a special order but Summit was great by giving me a $100 gift card because I had to wait so long. I used the Corvette-specific floor mounts and installation was pretty easy. I took her out for a long drive today and they are very comfortable with firm support. I have not seen these seats in any C2's so I thought I would show how they look.

Very interesting....

Can you give us the part number for the seats and brackets?

Did you loose any head or leg room with those seats?

Thanks very much!!

Part number for the floor brackets :
1963 Corvette -- 81164
1964-67 Corvette -- 81172

The part number for the seat itself depends on the material/color and which side the seat is intended for. It's all on the Scat website, the seat is called the Classic Lowback.

I didn't lose any legroom and the reclining feature is very nice. The seat sits a little higher than my old seat but my seat foam was shot so anything would feel higher.

Very nice!

And the price seems great too... when you figure what a new set of seat covers cost for a C2!

Tooth Doctor,

If you have a chance (no hurry), would you do me a massive favor, and take a similar photo to the one I've posted below and post it in this thread? You can see my rebuilt factory seats and their height off the floor as a reference for anyone else concerned about headroom. The foam in my seats has less than 500 miles on it.

Thanks very much!

where are you lookin? when i punch the number in it comes up at $340 and change what numbers are u putting in ? the number for the seats with the headrest should be 80-1500-51 l or r , maybe you are seeing the seats without the headrests?

You might be right, they are probably a little more for headrests. Part #80-1550-51L (or R) is $310.97. Sorry for the bad info.

Regardless, I'd use Summit in case you have a problem...
