Default 500 miles...

After that magic number, it's seemed as though I got a different car! Really woke up the beast in her, and surprised the dickens out of me.
It's just astounding that we can get a car this fast that's looks this good for this bit of dollars. I know opinions may vary, but for me this is still a dream come true.

My only regret is that I didn't get one decades ago- but from what I've read, back then they weren't near as good...any thoughts from other owners on this? Thanks!

More like it woke up the beast in you. I'm not sure of all the changes that happen with the exception of the tachometer allowing additional revs. Engine fuel scheduling might be different, my engine seems more responsive now or I just perceive it. Happy motoring.

Best of luck.

Just passed my 500 miles. Definetly different but only because I did not exceed ~3500 rpm prior. When the tach said I could get to redline, shifted at 4500 rpm. Each day after incearsed 500 rpm until I was close to redline. Yep different car!

This is my 5th Vette. Actually each was better than the prior and even my first, an '88 felt great compared to my previous DD. My C7 Z51 was definitely a step up from my lower power, fewer feature C6 Z51. Now the Grand Sport with the wider tires my 2014 was missing is even better!

Yes, and it only seems to get better! I picked up my car in December and now have 5,100 miles on her - it's finally sunny with warm pavement in the Seattle area so I've been playing a bit more and definitely have a perma-grin as a result. Can't wait for my trip to Spring Mountain next month followed by several HPDE events this summer so I'm less tempted to get in trouble on the streets.

They are impressive machines for sure. Mine puts a smile on my face every time I fire it up.

I'm at about 150 now, complete with new car smell and everything after owning it since last Thursday. I suspect hitting the 500 mark in about 2 weeks.

The C7 is a better driving and higher quality car than the previous generations.
