Default Modified 96' value

Hi all, a 1996 manual transmission lt1 with eagle 396 stroker, SPEC super twin clutch, AFR heads, hooker long tube headers and 2.5" catback Borla exhaust.
Blue exteriors with silver interiors in good condition. Done almost 75k miles.
how much do you think it worth. Or what should I offer for it?
thanks

Its worth what someone will pay. I know you want a better answer than that but there are a lot of factors to consider. Who did the work, what components were used for the entire build, who built the motor, motor condition (any smoke, compression numbers etc) and of course interior and exterior condition, how it drives... the list goes on. It could be anywhere from $8k to 20+ its hard to say without factoring everything in.

A 1996 manual transmission car would have had the LT4 engine.

Was this an engine swap or a transmission swap?

To be honest once you start modding a car that much, the market of available buyers wanting the car gets much smaller.

My opinion is that it would be worth around $5 - $7K at the high end and probably more likely in the $3K range. That is "if" the body, paint and interior are in really good shape.

Here is why.

1. The car is heavily modified so it will never be a collector and would cost more than it is worth to convert it back.

2. Depending on how much you trust the individual that completed all of the work then it may or may not be a decent driver.

3. It really isn't worth it as a parts car as there are probably cheaper cars out there with as good or better parts.

4. There are too many other unmodified, low mileage and good looking C4's out there that are forcing the value of cars like this down.

This is all my opinion and everyone has one. At the end of teh day the choice is yours.

In my opinion it is not worth any more the a stock corvette the same year and condition.

Well, I'm sure you did not like what you heard. But really, look at the pic....coil conversion is sloppy, alt and maf look corroded, vented egr pipe, all oem stickers look like crap. I mean come on....is that blue painters tape on the master cylinder reservoir.

Does her mom know she is selling it. Pass on this one...

Thanks all for the feedback, that's why I posted it here.. I thought the same but wanted to make sure.
I'm not going for it. I only trust the mods that I do myself. or done by a pro.
The search continues...
As always it was a pleasure getting your feedback guys 👍🏻👍🏻

12k min asking. The low price stuff comes from all the old beat up early c4s. The 95-96 people happily pay more for to not have an old crap car.

the mods are good not too crazy, so some car might snap it up for the mods.

..... Depends on whether you're looking for a car you can drive or polish ... this one looks like a driver ... then there's the supply/demand part of the equation ... How many vettes for sale in Dubai ? if that's where you really are .....

Smart move. The further you are from civilization (or a good Chevy mechanic in this situation) the less mods the better. You may have a marvelous mechanic but most likely will be working off the FSM or equivalent and if the car is highly modded, no telling how long it might take for even a typically simple repair. That's assuming they can identify a problem related to any of the mods done to the car.

My opinion.

check your state's smog laws, if it has to pass a visual, forget it and fine a nice clean "stocker" and yes I live in California;

edit: I see your in Dubai, smog laws may be less of a concern

Thanks all, I didn't go for it. Appreciate all the feedback though 👍🏻

There is a blue (BAM) 96' LT4 in the for sale section with LT headers and 3" exhaust anyone know the car? I'm interested.
Thx
