I was looking into some of the summer dates but am worried about the heat. Has anybody done sessions during the summer heat in the past and lived to tell the tale? :-p

I'll just miss you; I am there the week before. A friend of mine did it last August and didn't find the heat to be a problem. He drove the Z06 automatic and told me there weren't any overheating issues either; I was surprised.

" June, July and August you get an extra free night! " can you elaborate on that please.

Are you required to sign up within a certain amount of time after you get the car? I just got mine a month ago.

Since these months are Hot months, they will make a great deal even better. Essentially, you will not pay for accommodations.

When I went, I had to pay for one night out the 2 I was there ($119.00)

You have up to one year from the date of delivery to take the class. You can do it now if you like.

GM will extend the offer for a period of time if you can't make school within first 12 months of ownership. They did it for me.

Hey last time I went was 2008 , on my own dime and worth every penny. And I wonder if they will let me take intermediate class since I already took the beginner's class. Is This 1k bucks class is exactly the same as the beginner class or are there any different?

However I havn't been racing much after that class, just couple times here and there. Might have forgot few things but I still got all the notes with me! they were from 9 years ago lol!!!

Maybe I'll see you on the 22nd - I'm scheduled for June 23rd but will get there the 22nd for them to track prep my car. Since I have hand controls, I'll be using my own car. Really looking forward to it! Look for a yellow Z06 or a guy using a wheelchair and that'll be me.

Aaron,

Do you know what they will do to your car to get track ready?

^^^Here's what they sent me for what they'll do to my car for using it at their school:

Here is what they will do to your car:

 Change your tires out to our tires when you are done they will change you back to your tires. That way you are not wearing out your tires
 They will perform a track prep prior to you going out on the track.
 Change the oil for you- when you are done they will change the oil again.
 Dif Fluid will be change before and after as well.
 Track prep after you are done. Just to make sure everything is back to normal.
 We will provide the fuel for you while you are using it on the track.
 You will be required to sign a waiver that state we are not responsible for your car should anything blow up or break on it while you are using it on the track.

Let me know if you have any questions!

You have one year from your in-service date [sale date]. They are somewhat flexible at the end of the year if you have an illness, family matter etc, but they do say no to extensions at some point. VERY hard if not impossible to get a waiver for expired school certificates, so don't miss the opportunity.
Everyone I have spoke with who has been to the school has had high praise for the what they learned about the capabilities of the C7,and the hospitality experience. I met a guy who has been five times, and man, can he post some fast track times in a Z06.

I see so you can use your own car, but they also provide a matching car at the school right? if you have z51 or z06 they will provide whatever you got?

how many of you are going to use your own car? I probably will use theirs so less wear and tear on mine.

Just got back from the class yesterday, all I can say it was probably the most awesome course I have ever attended, everything was top notch from the accommodations, food, instruction, facility, not one negative thing to say about the experience. Those Instructors may look young, but damn these guys can drive and are excellent teachers!!!
