Help with setting up tune

Help with setting up tune
I am installing a ECS supercharger kit. It's the base kit with the 1500 Novi supercharger, BAP and 60lb injectors. I have Maximizer/OBX long tubes and catless exhaust with stock mufflers. I have the HP Tuner pro with a wideband. Can someone point me in the right direction as to setting up a base tune? Right now the only thing I have done when I put the headers on is turn off the rear o2 sensors and disable torque management. This is an 07 ls2 with M6 trans. Thanks.

Ask ECS for a base. They should be able to give you something close. Really just need the injector data setup for the 60lb and go from there.

I think to get a tune from ECS you need to send them the ecm and it's $150.00 + shipping. I don't think they can email one because they use EFI Live. Looking at the tune repository on HP Tuners I see most people that are using these 60 lb injectors just max out the injector table and leave it at that. To do it right I would think they need to be scaled?

Yeah, get ECS to send you something to start with. They do so many of these it should be plenty close to get you going

I would be happy to put a file in there for you, but as you said I would need the ECM. I can turn it around the same day and we do not charge for the tune or shipping back when you purchased our kit though.

Does not need to be scaled.
Can ask Carson nicely if he will send you a file to copy/paste from. I'm sure he has one.

I've probably still got the one Matt sent me years ago, only thing weird is I think the injector flow rate tables are setup differently for an 07 vs 05
Basically turn timing down, set PE richer, do 2 bar OS upgrade, pull a starting point VE table from stock VVE data, stick in best data for those injectors you can find and go from there. Also tone down the IAT/ECT/PE timing adders and go with it IMO. Probably something I'm missing but the main thing is getting close enough to run then you can adjust

Sorry I didn't reply sooner. I was out in the garage installing the supercharger. Its going pretty good but I'm picky so I'm taking my time. I appreciate all the help if someone has a file they could send that would work to at least run it that would be great. I think in the long term I will send the ecm to Doug in a couple of weeks as I will be on the Hotrod Power Tour so I won't be driving it.

Send me your email (unless someone can tell me how to post a tune file). I have a tune from my 05 that you could use to copy the tables over to your car. At the time I was running 60# injectors with headers, cats and mufflers with a D1SC and meth. Should be safe enough to drive out of boost to your tuner.

If you're just trying to get to tuner then leave old injectors in and drive to tuner, change injectors once you're there
05 fuel injector tables are different so will be more difficult to use an 05 as a starting point

Playtoy, I sent you a PM with my email. Thanks! Russ472 thanks for posting yours also. Between both of these tunes I should be able to make it run.

Also, don't just write one of those tunes to your car. It's a different OS and likely won't work anyways, but best case you burn $100 in credits for nothing.
Use the compare feature to copy over the differences.
