87 el camino
Looking to move vehicle off regular insurance policy. It is driven only 4 to 5 months per year and less than 2000 miles per year. Haggerty came in about half what we pay on regular insurance. Grundy came in about half of that but I see they have a $100 deductible on both collison and comp. Haggerty seems to provide higher coverage too

question?
Lower deductible means higher premium. See if you can increase the deductible and then compare the rates.

Ouch. Pretty snarky response there Captain Obvious.
On the face it's odd that someone would join and post to a Corvette forum about an El, but the answer would apply to any car of that vintage. Pretend he asked about a 'vette. Answer will be the same, and may be of value to C4 owners too.
Maybe he drives the El while his 'vette is in the shop.
I'm more of a Ranchero fan. The '81 Malibu I used to drive (company car) was a POS.

Whether the answer would be the same or not, moot point El Camino is not a Vette, at the very least topic needs to be moved to OT or locked, this is a C4 forum.
