Interesting. The new front end not only looks hideous, but it completely destroys the lines of the car. Looks like and anteater.

IMO there have been very few custom body modifications for the original Corvette bodies from 1953-1973 that are any kind of improvement. In fact the only ones I can think of off hand are some of the mid year flared fenders as long as the tires and wheels fill up the wheel well as they should.

When I bought my C2 flares from ACME in SanFran, they also sold those custom front ends for the C1. And the other one that took out the bumper and sandwiched the grill lower panel up to meet the top one....
