Carbons are badass...but I prefer them in SSB versus IO. Haven't done a price check on them in recent months, but this seems a tad high as its in ZR1 territory all things being equal.

They are a reputable dealership and have a great service dept. RichieRichZ06, a forum member, is the director of service and parts dept. He is a great guy. If interested, give Abel a call.
I am not affiliated with Abel, but they are the only dealership that works on my car and I live an hour and twenty minute away. My next corvette purchase will be through Abel.

It has too many miles for most of the collectors who waste stupid money on oddball things.

The price went up $2700, it's going the wrong way!

I think I'll pass. 4 owners in 15000 miles? Plus if I'm going to spend that much, I'd rather have a ZR1.

I have a similar thread in the General Forum.

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...ion-value.html

My question is, what would educated Forum members pay for a low mile IO Carbon?

$3-4k more than a similar non carbon.

Just like the people who think their RF or CE editions are worth $10k+ more than a comparable car, it is just wishful thinking. In another 20 years, if they are kept super low mileage, and pristine, maybe, but otherwise they pull a very mild premium typically for the unique color combos.

Anyone selling a CE for less than $55K is a bit foolish (that's just KBB value) - $67K? Well, yeah, that's getting into the "collector" territory - hell, someone paid almost $90K for one a month ago, shipped it to Europe.

Of ALL the C6 gens, the CE's WILL be a valued collectors car - good for me I could care less, mine isn't stock anymore, and I didn't buy it for an "investment", or for the next guy - I bought it to drive and enjoy. I could have been just as happy with a Z07, but sure, having a CE is icing on the cake.

What I meant was comparable optioned car. So a z07 cfz package car would have the same exact brakes as a "carbon edition". By non-carbon I meant just not the CE edition, but a z07/carbon pack car.

In direct sunlight it is very very orange with tons of metallic flake. I love mine.

A stripper model carbon z06 has got to be rare, especially in IO. Probably someone will appreciate that at some point, but for me, I'd want the goodies in a carbon z06.

I literally just bought a brand new C7 Z for 3K more...

This is ZR1 and C7z territory. Doesn't make much sense to me

This car is not an off the showroom floor car. The original buyer ordered it special. Someday it could be very special to someone else.
