Default Offset Trailing Arm Installation on 79

I removed my original trailing arms and have new offset trailing arms to install. I am looking for some guidance on how to put them back in.

I taped up the shims and have new stainless steel ones of equal thickness to put in. Is this the correct steps?

1. insert bolt and trailing arm, and put nut on.

2. Insert shims and then coder pin,

3. Tighten down castle nut to 50ft/lbs and instert coder pin.

Any other suggestions or tricks? I also have new strut rods and bilstein shocks.

Thanks, I will get an alignment, I was referring to actual installation of the trailing arms and suspension. Gonna try to get one of them in tonight. Hoping to only have to do it once, and get it right.

You've got the basic steps there, sure makes it sound a lot easier than it is. The area you have to work in to feed the bolt thru from inside to outside is very restricted. Disconnecting the rubber brake line right there helps a little.
