Default Really missing my car this week 😂

So I'm kind of missing my C5 this week...my primary residence is in Ohio but I also have a second home in Western North Carolina. Unfortunately the house is at about 4500 foot elevation up a dirt road on a mountain that I know my C5 would scrape bottom all the way up.

Besides all the paved, curvy and cool mountain roads heading up to my house I'm about an hour form the Tail of the Dragon and 3 miles from the road up to Hot Springs which the bikers liken to the Tail of the Dragon.

Would love to have the C5 here with me but it would get trashed just getting to the house, have to live with the S500 on the fun roads.

^Or smooth it out with a tractor and maybe add some gravel. One of the neighbors can probably do it.

That would be nice but it's probably 3/4 of a mile or more and them a 1500 ft driveway.

I find it difficult to feel bad for you when you have a second home and an S500. Not sure what other reaction/response you were expecting with this.

My lakefront summer home in Vermont is about a mile off the pavement end so my vert gets stored in Florida for a few months when I'm up there to avoid hurricane season.

Thanks for the response, really appreciate it. Not asking anyone to feel bad for me, just saying it sucks to be so close to some great driving roads and my car is 450 miles away what does anything else have to do with it.

3/4 mile with a box grader on a tractor would take maybe 2 days of labor. The trailer idea sounds good too but it sounds like the path needs leveled our anyway. You could build a garage at the foot. There is probably plenty of labor and people with this kind of skill in the area (out in the woods).

I know how you feel. My cabin on Cape Breton Island Nova Scotia is not accessible with a vette because of dirt roads and rough terrain and I have a great highway that circles the island. It would be awesome in the vette but sadly I leave the vette in Florida.

Maybe asking around if someone has an empty space in a garage that you can rent to put your car in for the time you are in the area.

First world problems I suppose. Just felt a bit self serving imo.

Would be tough being that close to the Dragon and not have the car handy.

Have a nice weekend in the mountains, forget about the Vette.

it'll be something to look forward to when you get back.
