Well done. When mine was done last year, I found that #5 was burnt onto the that air injector tube above the exhaust manifold. I put some heat wrap on that tube along with adding heat sleeves to the end of the plug wires to prevent future damage.
Just a thought in case you want to avoid this situation

How about those front two on the passenger side (2 and 4) a lot of fun huh? I just did mine on my 49K mile 91, and the other 6 had been replaced but those two were original. I bought the car from the original owner who had all the maintenance done at the dealer, I guess he got ripped off.

I recently installed the same wire set and also NGK spark plugs on my 86. I like the AC Delco set but found that a lot of the wires were just a bit too long. Did you experience the same issue?

I agree. I believe as time goes on parts suppliers condense products so 1 size fits all if you will and a little less specific.

I didn't get that comment either. Fluid looks fresh to me.

Good job.

What happened to your plug wire retaining clips? They'll keep your wires away from the hot spots!

Mine are gone as well for the most part. Would be great to find the part number and order a new set.

I changed my plugs and wires twice, not a very easy job, at least not for me.

not sure what's still available from GM, but if any, they will be pricey. dorman has replacement clips - note on the 2-wire clips, I just cut a 4-wire clip in half with a small xacto saw. I'm most cases, you only need the wire holder part (2 wire) and discard the locking clip. shop around for the best price - available locally and on-line. you can get real creative and solve the problem without spending a bunch of cash. probably do your whole car for what GM will charge you for a single part (if available).

in fact, check out google images for what's out there...

making two parts from a dorman one part...
