You you want a new Corvette that's really rare?
I was at the factory yesterday and observed the unofficial data that there are not too many C-7 convertibles being built. The tour folks were telling us how the black rose color selection was been deleted too. So here's my theory,,,, get a fully optioned ,black rose, Z06, convertible, and you'll have a really rare production car.
That's my opinion, and I'm sticking to it.
PS I'm 72 and doubt I'd live long enough to enjoy any price increases in my lifetime.

It is going to depreciate like all the other Corvettes. I think the color will not make much if any difference. I looked at Black Rose and decided on Admiral Blue with a black top and interior.

You want really rare, try finding a Z51, M7, convertible in any color. I happened to be looking at dealer stock at the big 3 Corvette dealers, and didn't see a single one in stock.
There are a lot of people who are not wide-body fans, preferring the cleaner look. Even a year ago, it took me forever to find one in stock, and it was a CPO.

The problem with rare cars is that it often takes forty years before the market recognizes that fact and it will do you any good. And the rare one is usually the one that you sold to get a new car. My cousin sold his XK-E Series 1 for $1500 in 1970 and bought a Mercury Cougar, a fact I remind him of relentlessly.

If you want rare better off spending your money on a good steak.

I've been searching a Z OR GS vert in silver, m7, red sport seats, cc brakes, gray or black top OR the spice red pack. **** load of 17's out there but none that I want.

Because all the guys whose taste in car colors is equal to their taste in beer only buy cars with screaming red interiors and blue exteriors?
They made over 2,000 of them which is more than for some. Seriously though, it's too tasteful for some of you guys. Same as the Brownstone interior (still the best interior of any they've offered in the C7).
I had a car of young folks (20s) pull up next to my Black Rose just an hour ago when I was getting gas to tell me how "sick" it was and asked if they could take some pics of it. I happily obliged.

I was just trying to make a point - that those of us that custom ordered may have rare/unique cars, if we compare every single option. However, rare does not necessarily mean more valuable, as I made no mention that my car was more valuable.
However, I do see one of those used C7s you selected is a Z51 which I don't have and the other has black wheels. I've got painted wheels. Forgot to mention that. So, neither is an exact match.
