Last year I and my 14 crystal red C7 vert were part of 24 Vette verts that did the drivers introduction lap just before the green flag for the MavTV IndyCar 500 at Auto Club Speedway at Fontana, CA. Just before the race I met Mario Andretti and Jay Leno. Mario had just taken Jay for a five lap spin around the track in the Indycar two seater. Jay climbed out and said to Mario "you scared the s*hit out of me!"
Ronald Reagan was my fraternity brother, Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE), although in age we were separated in age by a generation. When I was pledging my fraternity, I saw a recruiting movie that he made, starred in, and paid for. It had a very patriotic theme.
