I like my Corsa: http://www.corsaperformance.com/viewpart.aspx?year=2007&make=Chevrolet&m odel=Corvette&partnum=45860151&cfg=1488
and you could also get the exhaust to go with it.

LS2 OEM air intake will benefit from just about any of the aftermarket options. From reading lots of various threads it is a little bit of a chocking point.
The aftermarket options are all pretty good. If you life in California you may have a limited selection for CARB certified but if not I would just pick the one you like the most as far as looks. Performance wise they are all similar enough you won't see much difference.

^^^^This is good advise. LG recommends the Haltec intake with the cold air mod. At least they did in 08. This was along with headers, high flow cats and a tune.

Not just you lol. The CAI is one of the most amusing things I find in the "performance upgrade" department and were always a humorous topic in other car forums and clubs I've been in. I especially found the complaints of poor performance funny when their over oiled K&N air filters trashed their MAF sensors.

I have an 07 and when I purchased it the prior owner had a Blackwing air filter on it so I can't say if that made any difference over the stock filter. When I did a tune (no headers) that really made a difference. Dollar for dollar a tune is going to be your best bet for increased performance IMO.

Gave me nice boost in the winter months though.

The restrictive box intake on the LS2 is just that: restrictive. I replaced mine with a Blackwing and it made a world of difference! Oiled filters are a PITA, however.
The stock filters of both the LS3 and LS7, which are functionally the same, are so much better (than the LS2), I never would/did replace with a "cold" air induction.
Not so sure where they are getting their "cold" air from anyway.
