Ok GM lied and said the Z06 is the best track ready FACTORY produced Corvette. I get it its not a race car. BUT WHAT WE DO HAVE WITH THE Z06 IS ONE OF THE WORLDS FASTEST FACTORY PRODUCTION 0-60 AND 1/4 MILE TIMES IN THE WORLD AND THAT IS GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME!!!

I do not have one but was fortunate enough to take one for a test ride. All I can say is wow very powerful and impressive. My next Vette will be a Z of some sort.

actually, I believe the GM C7 Z06 marketing-speak was "...the most track capable Corvette ever..."
far different than "track ready"
but, carry on !

I know plenty of guys on here taken at face value and some pdr proof that they run fine. GM should step up and put the gmpp auxiliary radiator in that comes on 17 plus LT4 7spd cars and no need for anything else.
even know my buddy services a 7spd without the auxiliary rad that has swane coated long tubes tune for higher octane, 170f thermostat, larger heat exchanger, ported snout, smaller pulley and no cats runs 40 minute sessions all out no overheating. Plenty of pdr proof. So even WITHOUT the auxillary radiator you can pull it off.
autos different story. ZR1 never had an auto and even those cars ran hot when flogged in hot weather after time. Everyone needs to move on.

It is too early to tell right now about my capabilities or the Z's with only 26 miles on it. The main reason for me buying one is the fact that I own the highest performing Corvette/ GM performance car ever built to date! I know that will change soon with the ZR1, however I live for the now!

I do not want to test drive a Z06-I love my base C7 and do not want to open Pandora's box.

The tesla lol. Great for an electric rc car. 3ft past the finish line what happens? And how does one do that's been driven for 200 miles since last charge? The car is not meant to be compared to a corvette. And until they come up with a battery that can be charged in 5 or 6 minutes who cares (in the world of sports and touring cars).
and the hellcat is not faster stock for stock on any track in any category.

And for the other guy poo pooing the Hellcat, which is a hella lot closer than some here might suspect, just wait for the Demon. And just for clarity's sake, I could not possibly care less about any of the cars I listed. It was simply to refute the OP's premise of the Z06 being the king of the hill 0/60 and 1/4 mile.

I really don't get the point of threads like this one. Who cares? Hopefully you did your research and bought the best car that checked the boxes you care about. Being insecure about bench racing and stats is gonna drive you mad because there will always be a better car out there. I mean what's gonna happen to some of these guys when the ZR1 is released? This forum will explode in chaos!
Oh no! There's another Corvette that's faster than mine!!!

OP, you need to add to your capital letters, "REAR WHEEL DRIVE". There are all wheel drive vehicles that are faster in the categories you listed as pointed out by another post. As far as the car, we bought a brand new 2016 last year with exposed carbon, A8, 3LZ and Z07. All the goodies. Our friends bought one and we liked the new design direction of the C7 so we joined in. We enjoy the car and do not have any regrets. My wife drives the car and that was the point of this one, so she doesn't get stuck on the sidelines if it was manual. If it did a 2.91 or 2.95 or 3.0111 it doesn't matter to us. Fun car, looks great and sounds great with the #42 fuse pulled. Enjoy it and don't worry about having the 1st place trophy in categories, it is only time before you get handed a 2nd place then a 3rd instead. Automotive performance is advancing at a frantic pace right now.

It is good to see that C7 Jake's affinity for plastering pictures in possibly every thread lives on.
