Ordered a 2018 this Spring, built June 12th, delivered to our dealer June 21 st.....AW, A8, NPP, Q7E, pdr/Nav, red calipers, adrenaline red interior with two tone option.

* noticed the oil cap is now the Mobil 1 oil only cap that previously was on the ZO6. I guess now all non Z06/Z51 owners should be able to order the Mobil Cap for their cars and it should fit.
* Included in the documents is an additional sticker for under the hood that calls for Mobil 1 only.
* Attached to the shifter is a factory tag that describes the front wheel scrubbing as very normal. That info was always in the manual but now a bit more obvious.
* I was quickly going through the manual and saw a reference to HD radio and don't know if 2 LT has it ......will check later when back home.

I will post pix of the above items in the next week or so when back home.

My 2016 had the wheel scrubbing notice attached to the shifter. Nothing new. I think some dealers just took this off before buyers saw them/got to them.

My 2017 didn't have any noticed attached to the shifter. I hate my dealer anyway, so this is just one more reason!

Mobil 1 caps have always been available. They just weren't listed as fitting Corvettes, but any Mobil 1 cap listed for almost any other GM engine fits all MY year C7s either dry or wet sump. They readily available on Amazon.

Yes, this is my second C7 and our dealer did a good job of all info at delivery........would love to come out.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to get one before my next oil change. My dealer used (according to the invoice) a generic Dexos oil at the 1500 mile change. One reason I hate them is they ignored my follow-ups asking about that. Unfortunately it's not too convenient for me to drive up there and complain in person... and they have a very convenient way of not putting you through on the phone. What a bunch of klowns! I guess I'll just take it to a different dealer for the next oil change. grrrrrrr...

Thanks Foosh, and good info. I just seem to remember a couple of years ago there was lots of drama during the free oil change period and a few members were trying to get Mobil 1 on there caps.Some dealers were arguing that the Caps said Dexos and were fighting the Mobil requirement.?......that issue seems to be quieter now.

Just to be clear, this will not fit a wet sump base C7 (according to comments left on the Amazon page linked).

I think they call it CHATTER, when you turn the wheels sharply while going really slow the wide tires kinda skip or chatter especially in cold weather. I have read the technical explaination for this issue but I think it is those really wide tires. My 16 stingray didn't do it but my GS does it and I don't like it so I make small turns when I can. Not an issue just annoying.
