Default zo6 w/zo7 package ride

Don't want to beat a dead horse, since I have read some older threads on ride.Ive only got 400 miles on mine now went for a short road trip yesterday in the beast on both nice a some crappy roads. Before I bought mine I test drove the gs regular zo6.Drove all three in touring sport and track, and I don't think there is a huge difference when all set to touring mode track and sport is another story.Bought it for 99% street I just had to have its bad *** look.My previous vettes c2 and c6 zo6 both had a stiff ride but what I expected especially the c2.Also for grins test drove a cayman s which rode much harder than my vette. So now that the zo7 has been out a couple years id like to hear how the forum members feel about the zo7 package and would you do it again. No doubts here yet.

passed after driving one twice for an hour on mixed roads. having said that it may have been the comp seats bothering me as well, just don't fit them well. it was tight fine on hwy. but you could feel difference over rough pavement big time. is it the tires also? don't know.

Stage III aero on Z06 is best if not tracking get looks and a bit less teeth jarring over the bumps lol

I love mine with the Z07 Package, I drive in Sport Mode 99% of the time and the ride can get rough on rougher roads, smooth roads it's just smooth. No regrets here whatsoever.

The Z07 is imminently drivable as a DD in OEM form. I have the DSC shock controller on mine now and the ride in Touring mode is even more compliant than stock. TBH, its a little too compliant for me now in Touring unless I'm on some shitty interstate highways; (of which there are many of course), so I tend to always drive in 'Sport' mode. How someone could state that the Z07 version is 'uncomfortable' to daily drive is beyond me. Its a sports car for Christ's sake!!!

They are all soft riding compared to my 69 and 71 Big Block cars. I remember when people were complaining about the 84 Z51 riding like a lumber wagon and then I took a ride in a buddies and thought how soft it was compared to the 71 that I drove over to his house.

I don't find the Z06/Z07 with ZP Cup2 or ZP MPSS tires to be a soft ride but isn't a terrible ride either.

I never found my z07 to be uncomfortable at all, it isn't harsh by any means even on the cup2 zip tires, I just switched to r888r all around and lowered the car on stock bolts, while it didn't lower it much I now feel the ride is a little harsher. Probably wouldn't be the case on a non-z07 car but it's a sports car, the carbon ceramic brakes with pretty much zero brake dust is worth it alone getting the z07 package lol

No regret whatsoever. Car is smooth and rides great. No way I would've got this without the ZO7 package.

It does have a bit of a rough ride even in tour mode. I wouldn't change my decision though. It's about the same as the C6Z, but not as compliant as the ZR in tour mode.

Absolutely no regrets what so ever.
The ride is not harsh and jarring like some have claimed. It rides like a sports car, solid, firm and connected to the pavement. If I had not bought the Z07 package I would always be thinking I should have.
With the stage three aero, it is by far the best looking C7, bar none. I get compliments all the time from total strangers every where I go.

I love my Z06 with the Z07 performance package, however, I run Autocrosses with the car and fully acknowledge that spending the additional $11k makes very little sense for a DD. There are folks that just want to check every option box to say that they did but a Stage I car is the most practical for a DD. The Z06 is an incredible car in even the base level and, if ride quality is your primary focus, a Stage I is the best approach, IMHO.

2nd Z07 optioned car, and I live and drive in the northeast where our roads SUCK, and find the Z07 to be easy to live with, no regrets, although the cup tires are coming off, they just pick up every rock in America

Traded my Z51 Stingray for a Z07. Drive in Sport most of the time and love it. Ride is nowhere near as harsh as some of my older Vettes. Love this car.

Yea I hear ya my 72 had very unforgiving seats, plus it was a small block 350 with maybe 300 hp c3 that is I misspoke earlier stating c2 but it was 3 years old I was still young and I think It set me back 5500.00 it was still quite the car for 1975 and I loved it.This car is like the jetsons.

Love my Z07! When the highway is smooth it's like a freaking go cart! When the road is rough I feel like I'm in my 63 ! Both are real good feelings !!

I've owned and DD both now and the Z07 is definitely a harsher ride. Whether it's too harsh is purely a function of your tolerance and where you drive.

I don't understand why people pay $8K for a Z07 just to get the looks. If you never plan on tracking the car hard then get yourself a Z06 and buy the stage 3 aero bits. If you want to looks and dust free nature of the CCBs then buy them but there's no benefit to the heavy springs and shocks on the street.

have mine lowered on stock bolts drive it in track mode a lot with an M7. I like the feel of a "race car"!
When I have passengers I go to tour settings and shift sanely. They are very impressed on the comfort/ride quality/quite interior. My Yukon Denali is for smooth quite rides as a default it is also MR ride just set to tour only (no options to change ride stiffnes)

Do it again? Absolutely! I've run Silver State and NORC 5 times now and that car is absolutely superb!

So, when are you coming out for Silver State? You have the right car for it!
