Long Beach Red with Spice Red interior. anyone have
Wife wants a convertible in LBR, but we live in an area where there are few vettes at the dealers.
Before we order, we'd like to see one with the spice red interior. since that isn't likely to happen, maybe we can draw on your opinions. Does anyone have one (pictures) and what do you think.
she;s worried that it might clash. We'd probably get the black top, so it is just the interior that she is concerned about.

^^^ ^^^ I have a customer who ordered a new Z06 in Long Beach Red. Even though Z06s come standard with red calipers, I recommended going with black ones because of that. He agreed and the car looked great.

IMO, the Spice Red interior is a little too much red on one car.
My LBR has the Grey interior and I think it works well.

If you open the link and look at all of the pictures, you will find this one. This is not LBR;

P.S. I'll be at that Chevy Dealer tomorrow so I'll take better pictures of those dark red calipers to 'shed light' on this discrepancy, if one. Then post to this thread.

Long beach red with the spice red interior looks amazing together! Have to agree that the red calipers don't match that well.

My LBR has Black calipers.
At first, I didn't like 'em because they don't really stand out.
However, I have come to see how they blend in with the other pieces of black on the exterior of the car.
Still, I wonder if Silver would have been better....

For the record, the color of the dark red calipers that GM matches up with the Spice Red Package is called "Addicted Red". Long Beach Red is the exterior paint color, not the caliper color. The Addicted Red calipers have different GM part numbers than the standard red calipers. The give away is that the Addicted Red or dark red calipers have the white Corvette and/or Brembo lettering, depending if you have the Carbon Ceramic brakes, and the OEM standard red calipers have the black lettering.
Personally, I really like the Spice Red interior, however I like it least matched up with the Long Beach Red exterior. I think it looks much better matched up with Arctic White or Blade Silver where there is a distinct contrast vs. the blended red on red.
