does MOTUL meet the GM Dexos spec? If NOT may void your warranty

check the following and do NOT believe MOTUL is listed as a licensee per GM Dexos spec

Default Motul Dexos 2 Spec

Try this updated link for DEXOS 2 spec that includes Motul oils

I used to run Mobil 1 0-40. Now I run the new Mobil 1 5-50 for street and track. It's designated FS-X2. For year round use.

No but I've switched to Amsoil Signature Series 5W-30 and the Amsoil oil filter - get an oil analysis done after running it as compared to Mobile 1 and you'll see a big difference. Motul is supposed to be very high quality also...

I just bought this, going to dump the M1 EP 5w30. Nothing wrong with M1 but lately i been thinking that there's a better oil out there. I dumped out the same oil out of my wrx last week and put castrol magnatec and the car runs A LOT smoother. No placebo, i can really tell/well feel a difference. So now i wanna see if there's a better oil for the Z.

And it has the dexos approval, which means good to go in our cars, good for warranty.

Will report back when i pour it in and see.
