if you scroll down and look at the pics, its almost looks like the car had an underhood fire at some point. probably why it was parked

A 1968 Corvette, and all the original L.E.D.s in the dash STILL work? That IS rare!!!

It does look like "Bubba" got at the wiring, just below the area where the fiberglass is messed up.....

Not the only Bronze painted 68 that "claims" to be original paint I've seen recently. At least this one is under $100k.......

Ladies and Gentlemen. When you see paint in front of the cowl in front of the windshield in the engine compartment on 68/69s its because it was repainted. That area is supposed to be blacked out except on the first 3500-4000 cars made in 1968.

You are doing this wrong.

When the wife says BUY IT to a Corvette like this... BUY IT and figure out parking later.

Yes, the cowl strip is one clue, just to add, the door leading edges are not blacked out, and the amount of overspray on the weather strippings is more evidence of the repaint......

I think rust is an "issue" here as well.....

I do not think that 68 Corvettes had the black out on the leading edges. Lou.

And paint overspray becomes even more obvious with the doors opened and overspray on the weatherstripping!

I just watched a bit of the video, in post #1, where the one voice keeps saying "It's all original", over and over. The video scans the dashboard, and the voice says, "original keys". I don't think so.....Then they scan under the hood, a black alternator? I don't think that's OE...............

I noticed that as well. The keys are certainly not 68. If he thinks they are then I kinda doubt he knows what else is.

Still a decent car for the money.
