Default I must be the only one....

I'm seeing all these posts and threads about owners having issues with A8 transmissions, power steering, radio bass causing damage to door skin (whatever that is). I must be the only one completely satisfied with my C7's. Maybe after driving older Vettes over the years, I've come to appreciate the advances made to the new Vettes. Or maybe I've been lucky.

How many miles have you driven your C7? I am currently polling people about their A8 transmissions before I take the leap and buy a new GS.

We have about 14k on the '14, 6k in the '16 (both M7s) and about 2k so far on the '17 GS (A8). Have friend with >30k on an A8 with no issues.

Thanks for the info! The C7 must not be a terrible car if you own 3 of them!

Same here as my new 2017 GS Convertible is my first new Corvette since ordering a new 1975 when I was 18. All owned since have been C2s, 3s and 4s.
Corvette has sure come a long way over the years, especially in their convertible tops and overall ride.

2017 Z06 Z07 A8.

Owned it. Since mid May but travel all the time. 1200 miles no issues. I couldn't be happier.

Water temp got up north of 220 the other day when the air temps were in the mid 90's.

So far, my 2014 is, by far, the most problem free Corvette I have ever owned. It rivals many cars I've owned, probably in the top five for best reliability compared to a Gen I Toyota Highlander (one of the most reliable cars ever produced) or our Gen II Lexus RX350.
Forget the Volvo, Mustang or 79 Vette. Those move to the bottom of the list.

It's funny how we view our Corvettes vs. other daily drivers. 2300 miles?! I used to put that on in three weeks with my daily business sedans and would be like me saying, "No issues this week so mine's been great!"

I think we should all hold GM and the Corvette in particular to higher standards.

2014, 21,000 miles. Still running perfectly, no issues caused by the car.

I piece of trim needed to be replaced. The gas filler neck recall. That's pretty much it.
