c2 guy looking for c4
Has anyone had any dealings with GR Autogallery out of Wixom Michigan.
Looking at a 1996 Torch red LT4 with 5657 miles. Or if anyone has a similar car I would be interested in.

There are a couple nice LT4's in N. Canton Ohio at dealerships. One just showed up. It is on autotrader and is priced pretty competitively. Both are nice cars.

Why settle for an LT4 when you can have a nice low mileage ZR-1 for most likely what they are asking for that. Wouldn't you rather have an LT5?

I talked with them last September about a '76 they had for sale. Pretty sure they do all their deals on consignment with the original owner, and from my experience, any type of test drive is frowned upon until the very end of the purchasing process.
Not saying any of that is good or bad.
Check out Seven Hills Motorcars near Cincinnati - typically some sweet Corvettes there.

ill take a low mi car no problem. So what if the brakes or rubbers need a little help, less miles is less wear period. Unless it sat so long the rings rust to the wall. Maintained hi milers sure are ok but even though the motor may run good eveyrthing attached to it youll be replacing.

I mean they are barely priced more than a regular c4 and yet they are a completely different level in power, legacy, and body.
ZR-1 or none.

That would be the ideal history for a very low mileage car. Hard to say how those miles were actually lived. I believe it is far more likely that the car was driven several thousand miles and then sat for a decade, or more.

LT4 is no slouch and you're getting a Vette that included all the fixes from prior C4 model years and many LT4's have been know to break into the 12's in the quarter mile. The low mileage is a bit of concern if it wasn't properly stored, but at the same time wear on parts will certainly be minimal.
I can see people not driving 96 Grand Sports which will continue to appreciate in coming years, but never got the "save it for someone else while throwing you money out the window" mantra so many Vette owners seem to take?!?!?
Be interested in knowing the history of the car and why it has such low miles???
EDIT
Okay for that price, run away...

Maybe pretended they had something special. A "corvette" with only 5,xxx miles on it.
That was the wrong car to park IMO.
Then again people parked v6 mustangs in the '90s... still worth 2-3k but whatever.

That's not a GS anyway. It's just a 96 with an LT4 and manual transmission. All LT4's say Grand Sport on the throttle body. Way to much for that car. It looks nice but maybe at $14k or less.
