i need to replace my oil pressure sender on my 1990 as my gauge is all over the place and at time maxed out, Does anyone know the correct 3 wire sender part number or link, eckers or mid america. any help would be much appreciated

the original GM number is 10096199, however it's been discontinued. can't say if repro's are available from any of the corvette parts vendors. good luck in the search.

Use either the part# JoeC mentioned or GM # 10201491 as a reference and buy 'LOCAL' so that if you have issues then it's a 'toe to toe' conversation regarding your experience. Any quality auto parts jobber can use the GM#'s mentioned as a reference.

It may actually not be the sender - maybe you check. I'd avoid maybe the resellers you mentioned for no specific reason - I just avoid them. LOCAL nearly always!

common problem on the 90. seems there's a TSB on the issue - try bulletin number: 91-451A-8C (04/30/1992).

seems there are a variety of GM replacements sensors. the Y-body L98 callouts are 10205410 and 10096199, but others may apply. google the TSB number - seems there' a ton of info on the subject.



edit: looks like both GM numbers are discontinued, however, the 10205410 part number cross references to a couple NAPA part numbers.
