not that a car like this is ever " finished " but its done for a while. just a quick update for those that were interested in how it would look.
I like the finished look as shown. But like you say never finished.
For me the next unfinished item would be the wheels. But I rarely like the look of the factory rally wheels. I like the resto mod look and this car looks like a good candidate for that.

I'm doing well, thanks. I've been working a bit but finding it pretty uncomfortable working underneath the car in the gas tank area and getting itchy and fiberglass dust in my eyes. I'll be more motivated to work on it when I'm back doing glass work on the outside surface of the car again. I find working on metal cars a great deal less uncomfortable.
The first really radical custom i did was a camaro, did metal flares, yeah all different,
Then when i did do glass i was a weenee, i had fans, vacuum systems set up to keep it off me and the area cleaner, the older i got get the more fg dust bugs me
Maybe it is getting older. Twenty years ago fiberglass dust didn't bother me but its a problem now. When I first started on the Corvette it was extremely bad on my face in particular, the itching would drive me nuts and it would last for a week after I stopped the glass work. I've since been using a barrier cream on my face and at least that part of me isn't itching much anymore.
I like the retro look applied to the late C-3 body. There are a few changes I would make, but that would come under personal preference. The one big deterrent to me is the cost of parts to effect the changes and required body work and paint. I ask myself if the cost and effort equals the result. It certainly makes the car unique and get some scratching their heads on what model year. Good luck with it, the overall look is pleasing. My choice of a hood would be an aftermarket smooth 3 inch rise cowl hood.
I like it for a bolt on solution. If it were mine, I would look into using the earlier style tail lights. I think they flow better with the rear panel style.

The cost is really comparable to stock style fiberglass replacements and the quality and fit are very good. Far better quality than the 'glass '75 style bumper that I originally put on and the net effect is worth the effort. If you want a completely different look for your rubber bumper Vette and aren't overly concerned with originality this is a great option.
