For sale opinion
I just listed my 64 Custom coupe on this site and I would like to know if I included enough of information and pictures to help the sale.
Thanks,
Joe

Joe,
Interesting custom including the 63 Buick Riveria taillights. That was a common custom taillight treatment back in the day. I think your ad and pictures are fine. Personally, I would disagree with the statement that the body mods would be easy to reverse, there is a ton of work and money to remove flares on all 4 corners, the duck bill spoiler, and the taillights.
But, that will be up to a potential buyer to consider, and of course they may leave it just as it is, which is fine.
Good luck with sale.

Nice ad Joe - I always post a video too, of the car starting, idling, how the engine looks running, and back at the exhaust to show the sound and idle 'lope' and that there is no smoke or funny noises. It only takes a few minutes on your smartphone and really 'punches up' the ad IMO...

I really like the front bumpers with no turn signal lights sticking out. Where are the turn signal lights located? If I could find a reasonable set of front bumpers for mine I would put them back on.

What is a smartphone? Will my flip phone work?
I will take a video when I get it off my lift.
I did that with my wife's 82 Collectors Vette and a guy flew in from England and purchased it.
Thanks everyone for the feedback.

It is worth it to someone that likes the modifications but not to someone that would want return it to stock.

It is one of the nicest riding C-2 I have driven.
I hate to sell it but I have my eye on two possible big block cars.
One is a 427-425 and a 427-435.
My garage has five cars in it now and no more room.

(I originally posted this reply to the sell thread - apparently under-caffeinated still this morning)
While that custom work is not to my taste, you didn't ask for opinions on that.
I saw your add and I think that your description and photos are better than about 90-95% of all adds for these cars that I've seen posted. Good job (and smart job to parrot it here.)
I find it odd when people post up a high dollar car with only three or four bullets, no detailed descriptions, and no photos, and wonder why their car doesn't attract any potential buyers.
Just look at the advert for the high $100's car close by your add - odd.
I'll also say this - I think that your price is fair, too. If the car was not customized but was in the condition it appears to be, I think it would go for substantially more.

I think it is a very fair price. Should go quickly.

It runs great, I had it out two Sunday's ago in the back roads of NJ for over three hours and had a ball with it. Since I put the 3:36 gears in the rear it is a pleasure to drive on the highway.
