65 red/white coupe 300 4spd
Rally Red exterior with rare combination white interior with red carpet and dash, 327/300 HP has 88,989 original miles indicated with all four prior owners known. This is a well maintained survivor. Last 29 year owner was a meticulous engineer who tracked it's history and originality while he kept the car in excellent condition. All gauges, clock and original lighter work.
Vin # 194375S100034 ( Yes 34th 1965 Corvette ) Original proper Trim Tag also indicates AO Smith body #1. The panel fit and seams on this un hit car are excellent. Repainted about 30 years ago and paint is well kept with no crazing or cracks. No rust frame with 90 % of car's life spent in New Mexico and Arizona. Original chrome and stainless in excellent condition. All windows are original except windshield which is fairly new and very clear.
Four speed Muncie, F40 suspension, 3:55 positraction rear, original AM-FM radio with power antenna, both work well, ZO1 convenience group and whitewall radials. Now equipped with 1967 Corvette wheels, hub caps and trim rings. Five original 1965 wheels and five 1965 hubcaps included in price. Spare tire installed with original lock.
Has original numbers matching engine, transmission and differential. Rebuilt original alternator, rebuilt replacement starter ( have original stator housing which goes with car ), rebuilt water pump and have what appears to be original water pump. New seven blade fan, fan clutch and new radiator. Original five blade fan goes with car. Ceramic coated original exhaust manifolds and new 2 1/2” exhaust system.
Rebuilt Carter Carburetor on car and separate fresh rebuilt original carb goes with car. New Red carpeting, new white seat covering and new seat foam recently installed. Rear blower in place and works. Rebuilt original horns.
Complete front and rear suspension rebuild with new ball joints, shocks and bushings. Rebuilt trailing arms, new bushings, bearings, u joints and fiberglass rear spring. All new stainless steel sleeved brake calipers along with new rubber and steel brake lines and gas lines. Computer alignment front and rear.
