Mirrors painted and car lowered
When I brought the car, there was a scratch on the passenger mirror. After 2 failed attempts to match the paint. I decided to paint them black to match the wheels.
I also lowered the car. Stock bolts in the front gave me just the right drop. But I had to go aftermarket bolts in the back to get it low enough.
And thanks to another forum member. I was able to get my hands on these sweet HID fogs.
Wednesday coming, she goes in for exhaust and brakes.
Them the following week for paint correction and ceramic coating.
Oh and I have a new front splitter in my garage waiting to be installed after cracking the current one on these wonderful Pennsylvania roads.

Car looks great! Painting the mirrors black was a nice touch to the car. It wouldn't work on every car, but looks real good on yours with the yellow and black theme. Well done!

You cracked the prior splitter at the stock ride height. You've now lowered the car and you're going to install a new splitter. And what exactly do you think will happen to the new splitter that will now be closer to those same wonderful roads?

Looking Good, very tasteful. I was back in PA visiting family in Jan, yea those lovely roads, OMG don't miss them a bit, couldn't go 50ft without hitting a pothole. was there 8 days didn't see one vette I can see why.

I think if I had a yellow car I would go with black mirrors too. It really looks sharp. The whole car looks extremely well thought out. Good job.

It was actually good that you had issues initially painting the mirrors. The black looks great as does the car.

Omg thank you all,

yeah...I'm putting on a new splitter although I cracked the current one. I know, I'm an idiot...lmao. I don't think I can go back to stock height and I can't drive around with a broken splitter. I just have to be a little more careful.

Dude you are the best. I feel honored that you would make that statement. Because I've seen some pretty badass C6's on this forum. Some that I feel I can't even hold a candle to.

Looks amazing! Well done. I would keep the cracked splitter on until you feel comfortable driving around and learn where all the pot holes, dips, etc., are on the road, they don t get cheaper
