Paint repair recommendation
I am in Sac, but open to Bay area shops.
Wife had a Oh-****! moment with her motorcycle, and I need a 6" scratch in the driver door repaired. Don't want to paint the whole door, hopefully.
09 Victory Red Z.
Thanks

If you in fact need to touch up the paint and it's not just a scratch in the clear that can be buffed out, then try Dr. Colorchip
https://www.drcolorchip.com/
Plug in the info for the car including the paint code and order the kit you deem necessary. About $65 for the biggest kit. How deep the scratch is will determine how many layers you'll need, thus how much time it'll take. But shouldn't take more than a couple hours if it's bad. Very easy to use for a first time DIY.
I used their $60 kit to repair 4 quarter sized chips in my lower rocker panels and have plenty of paint left to cover any other chips that I might have.

Update:
I used the DR Color Chip paint repair. Its wipe on and wipe off.
It worked pretty well.
While it didn't fill in the scratch flush, the paint matches well enough that minor chips and scratches seem to disappear to the casual eye.
Will see how it holds up.
Id recommend it for minor chips.
