I'm hoping I can get a little latitude from my fellow moderators for this post. It was just the right place to post.
Good evening all,
It is with great sadness I'm posting tonight on the passing of our Corvette brother and dear friend Mike Puzach, forum member mpuzach. Mike's wife reached out to me a little while ago to let me know. I'm absolutely in shock. Mike was my friend. Mike embodied everything that I love and hold dear about the Corvette lifestyle. He was a friend that I met because of the Corvette and this forum. That friendship grew into emails and dinners when we were together at Corvette events and endless hours on the phone. Mike's passion was the Corvette and equally as importantly, this forum and helping other owners in any way that he could. He would want you all to know. I asked Jana if it was ok to share here and she was grateful.
There aren't a lot of details to share. Mike and Jana went out to dinner with friends on Saturday evening and upon returning home, passed at some point in the night by Sunday morning.
I ask you to please share your stories and rememberences here as I would love to share them with his wife. Please keep her and Mike's family in your thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time.
Godspeed Mike.
Thanks,
Paul

What a shock. I never met him in person, but we always conversed through this forum. We both had Laguna Blue C7's and often compared notes. He was very knowledgeable and was always happy to share that knowledge with others. I will miss him.
Not long ago, he complimented me on a photo I'd posted of my car; he said he "loved that picture", so with that in mind and with all due respect, I'm going to post it one last time for him.
My sincere condolences to the family.

"In honor of jpee"
Paul I saw the heading and thought, "Oh no, please."
I will share two stories that exemplify the Mike Puzach I met and knew. And we chatted via email long before meeting.
One year Mike knew I was going to the Bash and said he wanted to make sure we met and spent some time together. I believe it's the first Bash I went to, and I met you there, too. Mike and I had a grand time talking about cars and his relatively recent move from California. A funny, nice, kind guy to be around.
And the second time, very sadly, was this year. He asked me if I was going to the Bash and I said no, I couldn't make it. He was really sad about that. In all the "I-wish" thoughts I have right now, up there is I wish I had gone to the Bash. I really do.
I'll also say this: there is no greater fan of the Corvette than Mike, from his '05 to his C7 Stingray. And what a fan who can be convincing without trying. The Corvette community has lost a great one. Rest easy Mike Puzach.

That is such sad news. While I never met or conversed with him personally, we commented back and forth in various threads over the last few years and he was a polite and friendly force here on the forums- something I've seen become increasing more rare as the years go by. Thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and family. He will sorely be missed here as a gentleman and positive all around presence.

So sad, he always seemed to be a very positive guy, even though I never met him in person I could tell by his posts that he was one of the good ones. RIP

What a shock! And to echo previous posts, a tremendous loss for this Forum.
I never met Mike. I was living in Portland when he moved to Washington. We conversed many times, I helped him decide what DSV mods to do to his '05. I offered to drive up and help him with the installs but he never took me up on the offer . One time I mentioned that I could not find the Rebuilding An Icon DVD. Mike said he had it and would send me a copy. A few days later it showed up in my mailbox.
Mike was a first class Corvette guy and friend, even a long distance or internet friend.
Condolences to Mike's wife and family. I am at a loss for what else to say.
RIP Mike.

Like many on the forum, I never met Mike in person, but I sure came to respect his enthusiasm and willingness to share his knowledge. My sincere condolences, and prayers, for his family and friends. Paul
