Call around and I think you will find that carbon fiber does not allow for this level of damage to be fixed. That said, the seller's offer of $450 OBO seems like it may be reasonable if you are planning on using this to obtain all the small parts you would need for a top (please check, I have not done the math). In my opinion, the main piece must be thrown away but there is still a lot of value in all the little pieces. Please take this to a Chevrolet Dealership Collison Center and get a quote for repairs, and also for repainting, and post the results please. I am only interested if it can be repaired and repainted to be able to be a complete top.

Just check with dealership today. They said the other parts can be repaired except the surface carbon fiber area. And the paint job costs around $150. Sorry man, I mean the function will be ok, no leaking or shaking. I believe it is lowest price of used hardtop in the market currently. So the price is reasonable like Luke said.
