You should keep one in every care cause you never know.

I entirely agree - although as a retired 40-year firefighter/EMT I went a little further. In any case, as part of the deal, get yourself CPR trained. Sad to say that many of the attendees at our favorite car shows are "seasoned citizens" (not unlike myself). Many of the larger shows are smart enough to provide on-scene emergency medical coverage, but rapid intervention is your best bet. Check and see if an AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) is available nearby. Most of them can be used by anyone, trained or not.
Who knows, the beneficiary of carrying this gear may just be YOU . . . so let someone know you have it. Our hobby is all about fellowship, good company and the joy it brings to our lives - so let's take a few precautions to help that all last as long as possible. Good topic, thanks for posting it . . . it may save a life, but even if it's only putting a band-aid on a child's "owie", it's all good.

They were required when I spent my twenty years in Germany. I still keep one in my cars. Used a bandaid out of one once when I cut my finger, but you never know when it could come in handy.
