If I told you that a certain high-level member of the Corvette engineering team likely won't be at Carlisle this year, due to familial obligations, would folks still expect to see a new car there?
As I've said in all previous threads on this same topic: I wouldn't bet money on it. Carlisle isn't a big enough audience for new product announcement. Like the Bowling Green show in Spring, Carlisle is a place to mingle with the engineers as well as to give them a chance to talk about what's already been announced/released. Not for them to announce new project.
The sooner folks understand and accept that, the sooner folks will have their expectations for the respective shows set appropriately.

IF it does happen, it would be one of the biggest surprises to the Corvette World in decades.
I just can't imagine it...unless the C8 really is coming next year.

The Corvette Team is rehearsing all the answers to your questions about the ZR1 and they are ready. After it is revealed every piece on the car will be picked apart and then everyone will a chance to formulate their educated opinions.
