I have been contemplating adding silver fender stripes for sometime now, just need a little push to do it or not to do it. What are your thoughts? Picture of my car and one I found with stripes.

I like 'em. I'm thinking about a pair of the carbon fiber ones for my Crystal Red.

I too have a yellow c6 but have been on the fence about buying the stripes. The one you have pictured definitely pulls it off but I feel like most I have seen end up looking meh, so I have stayed away.

I like your car the way it is. In the second picture, the stripes match the calipers so it's okay. Since your calipers are Yellow what color are you thinking?

Not sure, I was thinking silver but you have a good point about the color of the calipers.

You're the only one that matters. If you like them, do it. If someone else dislikes them but you like them, do it. Customize your car how you want it, and not what anyone else's opinion is based upon. Simple!

Agree with both of these post.

I sold my 08 and bought a 12 GS. It has grey/silver calipers. If I do the stripes they will match the calipers.

I have never liked the hash marks. That said, just because someone didn't like something I did like has never stopped me from doing it.

No stripes for me. They mess up the gorgeous lines of our be-loved c-6.

I put the silver hashes on my Artic White Grand Sport because my calipers are silver.

Not my thing... I have too much respect for the vette to put stickers on it. Always thought it made the mustangs look cheap, and they appeared to attract the 16-22 yr old high school and college kids.

Anyway, always willing to give an opinion but do your thing. If that includes stickers on your vette, then put em on.

The stripes are the mark of the GS....quickly tells the GS from the base model or Z06.

Yep, somewhere in the neighborhood of 4 to $500.00 for the GM ones and they imo are the only way to go. Personally I like them. I know some here don't but to each their own. It all boils down to each individuals personal taste.

It does NOT matter what anyone else thinks about strips - it is up to you. If you like them, then do it. If you are undecided, do not do it because the first person you meet that says they look awful, you will second guess yourself and try to pull them off.

im not a big fan of the yellow cars but i almost bought a yellow grand sport because it looked so good with cyber gray stripes with competition gray wheels... it contrasts really well
