Blade Silver with gray or black interior, which do you like?
As I plan and dream about my new C7 purchase I would welcome the forum members thoughts and comments.
I know that my new C7 will be in Blade Silver. But I'm torn between the 2LT gray interior and jet black interior.
Please let me know your thoughts, pros and cons of each color choice. And which interior you chose for your Blade Silver

Go with grey! Everybody does black, but grey is unique and the seats will be cooler in the summer (if you wear shorts when you drive you'll appreciate NOT sitting on hot black leather!)
One thing I really like about the grey interior is that it also includes grey carpets too. Maybe not the best color if you're going to drive it daily and subject it to dirt mind you.
My 2018 order is not going to be Blade Silver, but instead Torch Red, but I have chosen grey for the interior color. I like owning something that is different in some way and grey is definitely not ordered very often on the C7. I still am not sure on why that's the case as it used to be more popular in the past.

Grey interiors are nice....even classy.
Cons...color matching if damaged, shows more dirt, others "taste.
Plus with grey LT2, I think you can have some two option combine with black.
Black is the standard.
Cons...heat, no contrast so to say.
I am unsure on resale value or ease of resale with either color.
No vote from me...I would not go with silver unless a screaming deal.
If a deal I would personally be partial to the black for ease of repair.
Good luck in your decision...either will be a nice Vette.

Grey interior looks like too much grey with blade silver.
Black looks ok with blade silver.
Red pops and looks great with blade silver.
I choose red for the eye catching combo. Maybe you will consider red?

silver with 2lt black, why? it looks just like a 1lt. paid extra money and nobody can tell. 3lt, fuzzy black pleather on the headliner and seat inserts and steering wheel. looks rich even if it is plastic leather alcantra ultra suede whatever they call it to make it sound richer. but still, from the daylight into the dark.
silver with 2lt gray, lightens up the interior, more like entering an inviting cabin than a deep dark cave. put the weathertec rubber bucket liners over the light gray carpet, or invest in a rug shampooer. but, blah blah, blah, what makes it pop?
silver with 2lt adrenaline red and the two tone option seats: finally an expensive european supercar appearance for the money you pay to play.
But black is for an ancient reason. Jeans don't turn black blue, shoe polish hides the scuffs.
Red....i've seen alot of used red seats with dark shading. maybe just my monitor, but if I chose red i'd want the napa leather, it seems to retain its color without the dark shading areas.
Gray, watch those blue jeans and other dirt depository items as it is light color and will only grow darker from wear.
someone on this forum showed the light color kalahari i believe, on top of seats, turning black from where it rubbed the black headliner. pictures on this forum somewhere. dealer told him to pound sand with respect to a warranty repair.
choose whatever makes you smile.

I really like this exterior and interior color combo. I didn't see where the spice red interior was available for the 2018 models. One concern I had about the gray interior was the gray carpet. It could show dirt over a period of time.

My first Mercedes had beautiful gray leather interior. If it's a daily driver, you'll spend a lot of time keeping it clean, especially if you don't treat the seats. I was thinking about getting red, but stayed away for the same reason.
Beautiful but higher maintenance than black.

Spice Red was a package in 2017 and is now a 3LT/3LZ color option for 2018. Not available in 1LT/1LZ or 2LT/2LZ trim levels.

Easy, Red (Adrenaline Red, in this case) complements silver better than any other color IMO !
