Default Polishing Stainless Steel Exhaust Tips

Spent some time on this very hot and humid afternoon in the garage polishing the exhaust tips on my Grand Sport. Love small projects like this....especially when the results look like this.

Looks awesome! What are you doing the simichrome first then then wenol? Mix them together?

I used the Semichrome first with white buffing wheel on my drill, then polished at high speed with the Wenol and a Mothers Polishing Ball. Seems to work best in that order, especially with light pressure and high speed with the Wenol. That really seems to amp up the shine.

Looks really nice. I've had the stuff to do mine for several months. You just inspired me to do it - thanks!

I saw this and had to go out and get the same polishing wheel - works great. Thanks for the tip.

The OP's tips look amazing......I wish I had the level of "want to" to get those results but I'm just not worthy.

Where to get WENOL, I have the semichrome but don't get your results so it must be the WENOL product.

If you're headed to Carlisle this weekend....I'm sure you will find it there. Showtime vendor will have two locations.....that's where I got mine.

I polished my tips by hand once.... Me down on the ground, legs spread rubbing like crazy. I only did it once. Thanks for showing that drill bit tool. Now I can work smarter and not harder.
