Default SS Vette?

Has anybody recently purchased from SS Vettes? Looking at making a purchase but like to review before sending that much money. They have a Facebook but no reviews on it. Another mentioned they may have changed names and I haven't seen them post on here in a few years when I searched.

Any help would be appreciated.

I just text Don @ SS Vettes. He seems quick to reply. I'll PM you the phone number.

I purchased my front z06 fenders, splitter, side skirts, spoiler etc from him and can vouch 100% for him. He is actually the one who designed the first extra widebody panels(which supervettes copied and made a ton of money on). His products fit perfectly(way better than the ebay cheap junk) and I have nothing but great things to say about all the parts I have purchased from him over the years.

SS Vettes makes quality aftermarket parts. I have their ZR1 Extreme spoiler and love it.

No experience with him but some of those extreme widebody makeovers are incredible work.

How long did it normally take to receive your parts? I've been impatiently waiting. I understand quality takes time so am trying to be patient. I hate missing big car events while the car is apart. I will post up a final review once I receive my parts.

Have you contacted Don on your order status?

Unfortunately sometimes aftermarket parts take time but you will get them eventually and the quality should be good. I understand your impatience though.

Yes, I have contacted Don and he had been great at responding back. I am past the estimated deadlines given and am not putting anything negative as I understand quality takes time. I just want a realistic time frame as I have events planned and the car is disassembled and ready in accordance to the longest original time quote.

Just curious as to the time time it took others to receive, that's all.

My advice............ never plan an event based on a vendor's estimated delivery time. I am more surprised when they make their estimate than when they are late. Unfortunate, I know, but that is my experience.

I wish vendors would under promise and over deliver, but usually it is just the opposite, so I always expect them to take twice a long as they say it will take.

Can't argue there. Should of held off until all parts were in my hands. But I didn't, just ready to drive my car again.

Met Don in person a few times, I was one of the early ones who used his aftermarket fenders. You don't have to worry if you will receive your parts, I didn't have to wait back when I got mine, he brought them over in his truck and I picked up from him off the highway on his way to Miami.
He's a stand up guy. But like Randy said don't plan events around waiting on parts
Good luck and post pics when you are done

That is awesome! What color is that? Is that a aftermarket hood too or GM?

The color is Dark Satin Grey. It's actually a wrap. The hood is an RK Sport Supercharger hood.

WOW!!! that was amazing!!! Seeing how the thread was inactive for so long I was afraid I would get no reply. I am so glad I asked. Those photos are amazing. The wrap looks awesome. Which Parts beside quarter panel fenders did you get from SS Vette?
