Harvey Took My Cars...Need a Fawn '62
We'll, thanks to Hurricane Harvey, I'm back in the Hunt for a Fawn Beige '62 Corvette. Prefer 300 or 340 hp with 4-speed and a hardtop. Numbers matching preferred. Thanks!

Matt sorry to hear about loosing your car. Good luck on the hunt for a new replacement. But what really counts is that you and family are all OK. That what really counts.

IBoth of my cars were totalled, and I'm now waiting for a check from the insurance company. I can't wait to put this behind me.

I lost a '96 blue/white Viper and a 2015 TR C7 Corvette. They were both awesome cars, but I'm thinking it's time to go back to my classic Vette roots. Only problem is that I have very little time for travel, so I may have to find something in my neck of the woods.

Cars can be replaced, and a 62 is not a bad alternative.
Good luck on the search, and let us know if we can help.

Great to hear from you Charles! Yes, the family is safe and sound. I'm so very happy that our Goodwood Green L79 was not in my garage three weeks ago!

Matt, sorry to hear of your significant losses. I live in Bellaire and am selling my '62 matching number 'Vette....undamaged by the storm. Not Fawn Beige, but a 250/327 Red/black car. Solid car I've owned for 20 years. Muncie with aux hard top. Driver, not concourse, but great mechanically and an attractive 5 footer. Just bought a '74 Carrera (heresy, I know) let me know if interested. Original engine. Correct wheels and Wonderbar come with car. steve

Too bad you're not looking for a 61. A friend in Clear Lake is selling his Fawn Beige 61 with hardtop, 283-245. It's extremely nice.

Is the car you are talking about (possibly) one such car? In other words, what is the casting number on the NOM motor (if you know)?
Thanks
