Default 61 trunk rail supports

Does anyone know where I can get trunk rail supports for a 61? I've been able to find every other piece I've needed but I can't find these. They are the steel supports under the weather strip lip.

Try Grossmueller Corvettes in Phillipsburg NJ. The phone number is 908 213 8832.

I think you can only find them used, I made some and bonded it to the underside of the lip instead of riveting them.

I found one at JT Piper. Wasn't cheap but I got it. A little corroded but it will be fine.

This is the best I have. I got the replacement now. One was good and one was junk.

I bought one from JT Piper. He only had one other left side left. I looked them over and hey will swap sides. I needed a right but he only had 2 lefts. I did pay $200 plus freight but I need it now as I am working in that area. Surely you have them on your car they are riveted in on each side of the trunk up under the trunk surround.

Here's a pic of where they go. They are riveted in with countersunk aluminum rivets. The rivets are covered over with filler after they are installed and you wouldn't notice them unless the car was stripped to bare glass.

IIRC, mine are riveted on the sides and the bottom. It looks like the pics further up the page show removed rails with side and bottom rivets, whereas teh pic directly above shows side only rivets..

They are riveted side and bottom it just doesn't show in the pic. I was referencing where they are on the car and what they looked like for Jerry.
