Default Breaking up above 4k rpm ?

05 t-trim blower, meth, boosta pump,585whp. Car has been sitting in garage for a couple months....took it out for a spin tonight and is breaking up/bucking above 4k under boost.....where to start? Fuel pressure? Do the boosta pumps generally just give out w/o warning? Drives fine out of boost....

Start with the simple things like plug wires and fresh gas. Maybe swap plugs and check fuel pressure with a data log.

Plugs have maybe 300 miles on them (but will re-check),checked hobbs switch and injector wires too. Best way to check for vacuum leaks? Runs perfect below 4k rpm....

Smoke test, windex, soapy water, etc.

Pressurize intake and watch for bubbles as you spray connections with soapy water.

When my car did that it ended up being a broken valve spring.

^ Sorry to say but mine was the same thing. It eventually bent a valve and kissed the piston. Mine was due to a shitty shop install and not measuring pushrod length + I used PAC dual springs, now I use BTR dual springs.

It is bucking above 4k....but seems more like a fuel issue (falling on it's face, then lunging forward, ect). But will definitely check it out, thanks

Well I hear you saying the plugs only have 300 miles and while I agree that they should last longer on you particular setup. I have found that they tend to fuel foul quicker on the FI setups. Running fairly rich under boost most for protection etc... Unless your running an IR plug Its a cheap $25 fix to put some new NGK plugs in it instead of "Checking them" you've done half the work to pull them. Then you stick them back in and the miss is still there, and you do a bunch of other checks to find out later that it was plugs to begin with. So I agree to start them but just replace them and move on to the next potential culprit. GL!

I changed my plugs out like 4 times and re-gapped each like 3 times. Nothing really helped mine lol.

Can you get a video?

Sounds like fuel pressure is dropping, guessing you don't have a wideband?
