Price check on '16 2LT?
New, leftover 16 shark grey, auto, 2LT, $49000.
Seems like a great deal, or am I missing something? Has the black wheels, mag ride, and the data recorder.
Thanks

OP, That's a 21% discount. That's about the best discount you're going to get when buying new.
You're faced with a similar situation that I faced two years ago. Buy a new 2017 or 2018 at the base price with few or no options or buy a 2 model year old car, in your case new, with some really nice options for the same price. If you go with the 2016, you'll be much better off if you keep the car for a number of years. If you trade in every two or three years, then the age of the vehicle becomes a factor. The longer you keep the Corvette, the better the 2016 deal becomes. I went with the two year old, in my case CPO car with the options. I don't regret it one minute.
Correction: I recalculated the discount. It's more like 28%.
OP, Maybe you'd better check that option list on the sticker and make sure that's what your getting. This almost seems to good to be true.

I am kinda shocked its still for sale. Its almost 2 hours away, otherwise I would have looked at it by now. They sales guy also said I may qualify for 0 percent for 72....that really just seems way too good to be true. Has to be a catch.

Have the sales manager email or fax a written and signed copy of the deal with an OTD price.

Because it's the same car, but has the mag ride and PDR for $4K less. Plus, I don't think you can find a 2018 Z51 2LT for $53K and if you did it wouldn't have the mag ride and PDR.

Go drive it. If you love it, it's a great price with great options! When you drive it, change modes from Touring to Sport to Track (would stay out of the inner track modes to start). When you feel that difference in suspension, that's what you get with mag ride.

Actually, the Kerbeck comparison is a good point. For the same $49K, Kerbeck has a base, 1LT, manual, no option 2017 Corvette. I know it's hard to beat any of the three big dealers, but this time I think the OP found that one deal that's as good or better than the big dealers. I know, it's rare.

It's more important on the Z51. It's still nice to have. This car seems like a good deal to me. With the 0 percent 72 month loan it will save you thousands over buying new too. I say go for it if everything checks out.
