Procharger Price??
Trying to see if a procharger build is the way to go. I looked on their website but didn't see a price. Anyone know how much the F1-A, F1-X, etc. go for? Also, how much are our stock superchargers worth used once we pull it off?
Currently FBO with meth and e85, only making 650 rwhp, not enough for me.
Thanks,
Mike

I bought an F1R off a site vendor for $3700 (black), I picked up the Procharger C7Z kit off a local guy who sold his car and never bolted up the kit. So I got lucky here, that price was $4000 (this was minus the headunit). So I was in the kit for under 8K. I had to buy the procharger oil drain kit, this is a must! But was $60.
I sold my stock blower for $1500 ... Market is pretty saturated now. They were going for around $2000. I have a 17 so this was with the larger cooling bricks. You can't go wrong with any F series blower... Just get one to match your goals.

It's responding well... I'm very paranoid given the rash of transmission problems. Going to have all the tables blended as they are from the factory rather than some more broad approaches some shops do for sake of time.

I just purchased an F1R kit in June; all black with race bypass. $8600 shipped but I think they recently had a price increase.

Tune Time Performance just installed a 2300 Maggie on their A8 Z06. Through the cats and stock manifolds just the blower and tune car goes low 10s at almost 140 on stock super sports.
best part about Maggie installed by certified place is powertrain warranty.
they also do prochargers but this was a simple swap with great results. Plus a lot cheaper.

I am on the F1X through the A8 with no trans issues. Pat G did the trans tuning, so far I've been very happy with the manners of the car, I just need the weather to cool down so we can hit up some events and make sure we have it 100% dialed in, but I'm optimistic that we're pretty close.
The major consideration you will have to decide on is fueling. Either you go with a lot of meth, or you opt for a secondary port injection system. So keep that in mind when pricing it all out. A few shops are offering their PI kits now using different EMS and different fuel systems. M2K did mine using the Motec M84 ECU (controls closed loop WBO2, boost control, and the port injection....but can also operate a nitrous, meth, etc... setup if you opted for more features). They also utilize the Fore triple in-tank triple pump setup opposed to drilling a hole in the stock tank with external pumps which I prefer, but it costs more than an external system. Also uses ID injectors compared to FIC, FID, so again...a little more expensive, but I am a fan of Injector Dynamics.
