Reading the invoice, it looks like they used a factory fuel lobe for the high-pressure side. A true 1000 horsepower is pretty much unheard of, without doing lots more, like supplemental fuel injection way beyond what the factory high-pressure side can do.

Only that if they are claiming 1000 horsepower from that setup, the claim looks really sketchy.

No meth or larger pulley...I'm guessing maybe 680 whp.

EXACTLY !!!
I did everything you did plus 2" ARH, 38 Fuel Lobe Cam with racing lifters, overdrive pulley, Akrapovic full exhaust, 30% Increased Fuel Injectors to feed "FULL E85" with additional tank and pump.

I got 720 RWHP on a conservative dyno at Katech.

BTW Power loss from the crank is as follows:
10% Manual
20% 8 Speed Auto

I see your going with a TSP SV cam so I take it you have an A8? Your going to shell the TC pretty quick at those numbers (which I question the setup will even make). You're also taking a big chance with the stock pistons.

I hope that the shop you have talked to hasn't told you that the combination of parts on that invoice will make 1000 BHP or anywhere near. If they have, RUN!!!

They said METH is a pain if its not set up right ! I am using E85 with flex fuel

Whats advantage of Upper Pulley ? More Boost ?

yup more boost, absolutely needed in your goal! You should do E85 AND meth. It sounds like your shop aren't really up to the task, if you ask me!

almost a grand for an expansion tank holy crap. Fasterproms is only 500 via attached link
https://www.texas-speed.com/p-4946-f...vette-z06.aspx

No way in hell is this making anywhere close to 1000 crank hp.
Also if you ever plan on adding a pulley you wont be able to run e85 with stock fuel lobe, even a blend.
