Changed Wheels on 2016
Could not take it any longer. Had to get rid of the black wheels and put the Z06 Chrome on it. I know all my kids and grandchildren (all Grown up), wanted the Black, I am too old for the black. Exchange them out Thursday, can't wait.

Great Minds
Think alike. I don't get the black wheel look. Though 8 of 8 C7s on a local dealer's showroom floor wore black wheels. So there is that.

What's to get about the black wheel look?
Everyone has their own tastes on what they like & it's nice to have choices.
Frankly, I never cared for white vehicles, but others obviously love it.
It's all good.

Black Wheel Disease spreads in Texas
The BWD ( every disease must be identified by initials ) is now spreading to pickup trucks in TX. At least there is some probability that pickups may have been driven in mud and manure, which is what black wheels look like.

Maybe it's me but when I want a car to look "classic or expensive", I go with chrome.
If I want the SPORT look, I go with black. Very seldom do you see TRUE TRACK cars using chrome because of the weight savings for one.
SO why not let the owner decide how and what they want their car to look like?
One size does NOT fit all....................true in more venues than cars.

Where I live, if you have chromies, you are probably from south of the border. This is not a joke or some sort of racial comment. Just a fact.
Now I have black wheels, and don’t get peeps who don’t “get” black wheels. Last I heard it’s a free country, so enjoy what you run.
Just sayin’.

Put the chrome Z06 wheels on my 16 3 weeks after I bought it. Even the young guy that mount them said the chrome wheels changed the look of the car. Long Beach Red Metallic.
