No.

Both times I custom ordered from a Corvette Forum dealer (2007, 2014), because Van couldn't even come close to the same discount.

Van did get the consolation prize of doing my courtesy delivery in 2007.

I tried 4 times in 02 looking for a Z06. Each time they wanted 5K over sticker and wouldn't back down. I've never been back and never will. I picked up my 02 from Lawley down in Sierra Vista.

I am in the process of buying from Van, surprised to hear the negative responses thus far. They came to the plate with a competitive offer for a new build on a 18 GS that is in-line with the forum dealers.

Things change over time, so maybe today is different than in years past.

If my experience changes, I will let you know!

I bought my 17 Z06 from them. The sales people have zero knowledge about the car which did not matter to me as I know the car. They have a good selection of cars unlike most Az dealers. I live 3 hours from them so I have not been back for any service.

I really don't have anything negative or positive to say about them. I knew the car, knew what I wanted to pay so it was all okay.

I'm looking at another corvette as a second car but I doubt I will take the time to drive out to see them.

You have to watch them very carefully during the deal negotiations. They tried to slip in a "reconditioning fee" on my trade, I have never seen this at any other dealer. They also conveniently forgot the price listed on their website and tried to charge me a higher price. I called them on both and they gave in. To top it off the sales person called me a month later and yelled at me because I did not give her a 5 star rating. She had no clue about the car and just turned me over to the "Closer" so why would she think she did a 5 star job.

That's funny, sales have become a real dumbed down profession in many industries.

Default Van Chevolet

Had a really bad experience at Van Chevolet do I went to Sands Chevrolet and had s great experience. Vans basically ignored me when I showed up at the agreed upon time. I sat for over an hour after mybssles man was told I was waiting. Nevertheless I left and completed a deal at Sands. The whole process I did on the phone and Internet. Great price great experience. Had two service appointments that were very professional. I guess Vans doesn't need the business

I was looking for a C7Z I went there and it was horrible and valued my trade the lowest, got 7k more at Scottsdale Ferrari. Ended up buying from a used one from Scottsdale Ferrari. Also Midway sucks and it is like going to the ghetto to buy a car. The one on Camelback was nice but they never called me back as they did not have what I was looking for. I have no problem with their service department as they have been very good with 4 different corvettes I have brought them.

I wrote this after going to Van's a few months ago.

Van Chevrolet has sponsored our Corvette club for years and has cut great deals to club members for sales and service. I've only used them for service and found their Corvette specialists very capable.

Makes sense to treat corvette owners nicely considering they will need service. But for our first time corvette buyers they fall far below in customer satisfaction which I'd a shame because if they treated customers better then they would become loyal customers as well

Vans is a corvette forum dealer and as i recall they are #7 in sales for corvettes in the country but the sales people were dumb as a rock and played dumb regarding a corvette rebate that was in effect when I bought mine. I'm 3 hours away, they usually have a good corvette inventory but I would not bother to go back to them.

Easier to use a big forum dealer back east somewhere.
