Default 07 Base Drive Shaft Upgrade Options - 800hp

I had everything worked out to build a 700 hp LS2. The car did better than expected at 761 wheel when cutoff at 6500 rpm. I can't get into it until I do upgrades. The driveshaft stuff is entirely confusing.

I want to get ZR1 couplers or polyurethane and use a Z06 driveshaft. I read that the ZR1 are thicker and therefore won't work. Also, the Z06 are 12mm bolts and not the 10mm I have currently.

There seems to be some difference between the Z06 driveshafts as well.

Yea...I am being cheap and don't want to spend $1000 for really good setup. What year Z06 driveshafts will work for my 2007 base LS2 MN6 (T56).

Thanks!!!!!

I have the same horsepower in my 05' ls2...

I went with a drive shaft shop heavy duty aluminum shaft with a hard polyurethane coupler on one end and an aluminum coupler on the other end... I know this is over your budget, but its a really good setup...

Mantic twin disc clutch... rpm stage 6 t56 transmission... zip performance stage 3 rear diff with quaiffe... stock axles so that something can break, ha

Can I buy a Z06 driveshaft, and if so do I need different thickness poly couplers?

I think this will be good enough if it is possible.

Anyone?
