You did a REAAALLLY good job of catching your PS pump...which is good BTW......others are already confusing it for the HB.

[QUOTE=Not So Fast;1595609118]Nope, find that odd too but the belt looks a little funny on one edge. Its really hard to photo it, limited access and lighting but at those time frames you can see it wobble
Yeah, my HB wobbled liked that and the belt was frayed on the edge and squeaked. I went with an ATI and all is good.
Good luck

Thanks Erik, I cant really see mine like you could because of that damn black box attached to the air snoot, but what I can see looks to be not quite as bad as yours but close. I just don't want to take a chance.
Any problems after doing it ? AH codes, service anything pop up ??

I sort of wish I didn't have one but the guys that have removed them say they get surging at cruising RPMs, something about they smooth out the air supply, who knows
It's the same as the regular LS3 air intake minus the big ol' silencer.
Smoother idle than the aftermarket "Airaid" air intake that I used to have on the car.

I'm just scared to even go look at mine with all these reports of failures. I remember reading once that no one seems to remember one of the hand built engines having a failure. I'm sure that is not true but a guy and dream.

It is a carbon copy of the LS3 intake housing except that there is no silencer on it.
Fit perfectly in the car using the original plastic push-pins and the original rubber bellows that fits between the intake housing and the throttle body.
The MAF sensor mount on the LS7 intake is exactly the same as on the LS3 air intake.
I paid $110 (shipped). I did not get the air filter element with it since my original filter element only had about 2,500 miles on it (so I just used my old element).
The GM part number for this Z06 intake housing is 15839508 (does not include the replaceable filter element).
