I do recall Heinrich Chevy but not the car itself. When it left Rochester I was only starting to get interested in cars. I'll keep it in mind if I come across anybody from back then.
There was a Gene LeDeux (sp?) who was instrumental in forming the Rochester Corvette Club in about 1959. Whether he would have any recall of the car I don't know. Of course the original owner may or may not have been in the club anyway.

Thanks for the response. I have emailed the Rochester corvette club without any response yet. I was hoping to find people from the Rochester area that may have worked at Heinrich or remembered the car or its original owner or even anyone who may have any old Heinrich dealer items such a license plate frame etc... No luck yet.

I was a member in the RCC back in the mid 80's. Ironically when I owned a white 62 fuelie! Not many of the members were still there at that time from the 60's that I remember. I do still have some contact with members, so if you send me a PM I'll see what I can do for you.
I bought my '67 from Judges Ford that was across the street from Heinrich back in '75. Been in that dealership many times! Worked next door to them at a body shop in the Summer of '72. Brings back many memories.

I am looking anyone from the Rochester NY area or Dover/York Pa area that may remember a white 1962 Fuel Injected Corvette. The car sold new at Heinrich Chevrolet in Rochester NY.
(I believe this to be true if in fact it is the same car)
Sold new to a Charles Leone of the Rochester area. (Drag Raced at Spencer Speedway Williamson NY) The car in the first year had red stripes painted over the top of the white paint from front to back. For a short time it had "El Diablo" on the rear. The 2nd owners name was Phillip Fridley who bought the car late 1962 early 1963 kept the car till 64 traded the car in at the ford dealer in Rochester.
(I know this to be true) The car came into Pennsylvania in March of 1965. The car spent most of its life in around Dover/York Pa at least from 1973-2016 (maybe earlier). Car was owned by a Charles Jacobs from 1973 to 2016 of the Dover, Pa area. He bought the car in 1973 (already painted wrong color red) with 18K miles from an unknown gentlemen who worked at West Motor Freight Corp in that Dover/York area. He had the car painted Roman red Lacquer in 1983 and the car still retains that paint today. When he sold the car in 2016 that car only had 27K miles on the car. So I am looking for info on the car from 1962 to late 60s very early 1970s??? Any guys from either of these two areas or know of anyone from these areas back in the day that maybe able to help put the early years of this cars life together please pass it along.
