Default Is this the price for one pad only ??

https://www.amazon.com/ACDelco-171-1186-Original-Equipment-Sensors/dp/B01E6GPRNI https://www.amazon.com/ACDelco-171-1186-Original-Equipment-Sensors/dp/B01E6GPRNI

I cannot tell...

I was quoted $1048 for fronts from dealer (both) and $968 for rears (both)... Z07 brakes CC rotors...

either the dealer is cheaper than Amazon if that price is for one... or Amazon is almost 1/2 the price....

Well, the photo shows 4 pads, and normally that's how you buy them. I'd think the $$$ CC pads would be sold by GM the same way.

Amazon being half the price of the dealer? Not shocked at that. Also, the Ebay listing appears to have 4 pads in the box. So I'm thinking you're good to go.

BUT, it would definitely be worth asking the question to either/both the Amazon and Ebay suppliers.

HTH, and have a good one,
Mike

Both the Amazon and eBay listings you referenced are for both sides of the front - 4 pads and 2 sensor wires for both front calipers.

Just shows you how much the dealers are making when they sell these things at MSRP!!!!

And any pads for the Z06 with Z07 carbon ceramic brakes are exactly the same as for a GS with Z07.

And if you see a good deal on C6 ZR1 front pads, they are exactly the same as the pads for the C7 carbon ceramic rotors. The only difference is the ZR1 sensor wires are different from the C7 ones, but if your sensors are okay you can reuse them.

The C6 ZR1 rear pads are almost identical - the backing plate is exactly the same, but the compound is tapered on each end where the C7 pad compound goes right to the ends of the backing plate. The ZR1 rear sensor cables are also different from the C7 ones.

I've used ZR1 front and rear pads on my C7 Z06/Z07.

The Camaro Z28 with carbon ceramic rotors use the exact same pads - but again, the sensor wires may be different.

the amazon pic shows 4 pads... but the ebay one didnt...didnt show anywhere it was for both calipers... and since the dealer was twice the price I was thrown aback...

Btw there is an MTI in Texas and Georgia... both corvette people... I emailed them.. thanks, granted I may just do the Amazon one... was hoping for a deal though someone said they had a sale awhile back and they were like $430 ($100 less)

BTW, our Z07 pads are made by Brembo, but use a Textar T4300 compound on the front pads, and a Pagid S600 on the rear pads.

Pagid Racing identifies the shape of the backing plates for our pads:

Front - 8091

Rear - 4906

Take a look at these pages on the Pagid site.

Here's info about our front 8091 pads, and you can see they are used on several Chevy vehicles, and several models of Ferrari and McLaren. You can see they can be had with a RSL 19 compound (only for cast iron rotors), or the RSC 1, 2, or 3 compounds for carbon ceramic rotors. RSC 1 is a milder compound, and RSC 2 and 3 are more aggressive:

http://www.pagidracing.com/en/produc...hape-8091.html

Here's info about the 4906 rear pads, and you can see they are used on Chevys, Viper, a bunch of Ferraris, and a couple Lambos. They appear to only come with the RSC 1, 2, or 3 compounds:

http://www.pagidracing.com/en/produc...hape-4906.html

If you do a search on eBay or Amazon for the Pagid pads (search for "Pagid 4906" or "Pagid 8091") you'll find a few available. I see some rears on eBay for around $400, and the fronts for around $700. I only see RSC 1 pads available (don't get the yellow RSL 19 pads - they're only for cast iron rotors).

The rear Pagid RSC 1 pads are a pretty good deal at $400. They are a more aggressive compound than the OE Pagid S600 compound, but I wouldn't mind running them with my OE pads up front. Our "hydraulic brake pressure balance control system" controls the distribution of braking force, and the DRP (Dynamic Rear Proportioning) will adjust the front/rear bias so that I would have no concern running the RSC 1 pads in the rear with OE pads up front.

The Pagid pads WILL NOT come with sensor cables!!

The RSC1 is a race pad and should hold up better than the stock pad. I haven't used them but there are probably some forum members that can comment.

tha padid RSC1 one pads are the same $1100 for front and back pads as the oem.. you'd just get that right vs oem? the Pagids should bite and last longer you'd think?

Check this for CCB pad replacement

Carbotech™ XP10™

When Carbotech™ unleashed the XP10™ to the general public it immediately gathered multiple regional, divisional, and national championships. The XP10™ has a very strong initial bite with a coefficient of friction and rotor friendliness unmatched in the industry. Fade resistance is in excess of 1475°F (801°C). XP10™ still maintains the highly praised release, excellent modulation and rotor friendliness that have made all Carbotech™ compounds so successful. Carbotech™ XP10™ is not recommended as a daily-driven street pad due to possible elevated levels of dust and noise.

I always loved Carbotech pads...used them in my Nissan GTR, Lotus Exige, Mitsu Evo ... liked pagid also...

Im confused now about oem brembo, vs pagid RSC1 vs carbotechs xp10/12... want something that bites at least as well as the oem brembo pads, last longer but wont do that much more damage to my CC rotors.. also ease of install/wear sensors (I can use the ones there still)?

I don't care about a little extra noise or dust... this is a weekend/track car only...

Try a set of XP8 we will notch for senor and you should be good. The thing is the sensor will start to melt on track at high temp.
