Set of 4 BF Goodrich on AZ rims $500. please read
SOLD
Located in Nazareth, PA 18064. Pick up and/or I can travel up to 50mi to help; as into central NJ.
Set of 4 matched white letter BF Goodrich 225 70 15 tires on AZ rims. These were on my '70 and have only a few hundred miles on them and all 4 measure almost 11/32". Tires have no damage, cracking, plugs or patches and the white letters are white. All 4 tires have a date code of 0111 which is Jan 2011. These were always indoor, properly inflated, never leaked, no abuse, burnouts, etc. and according to Fed standards good for 10 years (read below). Wheels are all nice with no rust pitting curb rash and ran true with good balance. 3 Wheels are stamped 17 10 6 AZ Oct 6, 1977 and the 4th is K13 2 26 AZ Feb 26, 1973.
Pictures are of one, but I have individual pictures which look the same if you need to see them, send your email.
(Asking 600. no center caps or trim rings included.) 9/30/17 Selling price is $500. Consider that these are virtually new based on wear, the cost of nice AZ wheels and the cost of mount and balance. This is a great price.
If I missed anything please ask. PM or email toylman@aol.com
Question: Why are you selling them? Because I restored my original '70 wheels and put new Goodyears on them for ncrs judging and I don't need 2 sets or tires for a car that I don't drive.
Less point deduction. (Car originally came with Goodyears so they are service replacement factory brand and equivalent size. F70 15= 215 70 15)
"Continental and Michelin recently issued Technical Bulletins on tire aging, joining a growing chorus of tire manufacturers and automakers issuing tire age replacement guidelines for the U.S. market. These bulletins are nearly identical to the Bridgestone-Firestone October 2005 recommendation that specified all tires should be removed after 10 years regardless of the remaining tread depth. They also follow guidelines published in overseas markets that have been in circulation for several years (Safety Record V3, Issue 1).
There are several common threads among the new U.S. technical bulletins. All recommend tire replacement after 10 years regardless of tread depth."

Not sold. Here's a copy of the email I sent you...
Hi Ray, Thanks for the offer I like the way they look, but I don't have a use for them.
If you need tires this is a good deal and my bottom is 500. if that would help you.
Thanks, Lenny
