68 in Santa Clarita
Hi Everyone, I'm pretty new to this forum. I did purchase some parts from members here. I recently purchased a 68 Convertible (Blue) 327/350hp/4 spd. that was already taken apart. I'm in the process of cleaning up the remaining parts. I have fiberglass repair to do and window frame too.
By chance is there anyone in the Santa Clarita valley that does Corvette body work/painting?
Thanks,
Joe

Welcome to the Forum, Joe and congratulations on your '68!
I would encourage you to check the "Upcoming Events and Regional Discussion" section of the Forum https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-discussion-9/. There are discussion groups for both northern and southern CA. You might locate some insight there. Also, there is https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...ette-topics-8/ which has a paint and body section in it.
Best wishes with your efforts.

Thanks Everyone. I'm looking forward in picking your brains as I start my project. First hiccup, I removed the windshield and found rust on the lower corners of the frame. They were stuffed with the Butyl sealer. Argh... Fortunately there is only minor rust by the body mount below the windshield. Fun times ahead!
